Greetings!
I'm Paula Perrin, aka PJ. The nickname started when I was interviewing for a great role and the Marketing Director said, "I really want to hire you, but I'm Paula and we can't have two Paulas. Can you do anything about that?" Without missing a beat, I said, "Yep. I can go by PJ." She was happy, I got hired, and the rest is history. The point is I can think on my feet, and I mindfully apply that kind of creative, resourceful "can do" attitude to every project, every team, every day.
It's a strength that's enabled me to become a trusted B2B content marketing leader for public and private companies up and down the scale. Whether on a big team, small team or just working solo, I am always passionate about translating complex concepts into narratives that ring true, engage audiences and drive measurable growth. I know the importance of meeting target audiences where they are, and keep customer empathy always top of mind.
My industry experience spans key verticals, including hospitality, construction, energy, and digital advertising. I’ve created pieces within a wide array of formats, such as in-depth SME interviews, SEO blogs, case studies/success stories, white papers, webinars, podcasts, and gated content that drives both organic traffic and lead generation.
I am also well-versed at a range of content creation, management and collaboration tools, including HubSpot, WordPress, ChatGPT, Google Gemini AI, Jasper, Wrike, Trello, Basecamp, Media Valet (DAM), Teams, Teamwork, Airtable, SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
On a personal note, I'm a native Southern Californian who became a desert dweller over 16 years ago. I enjoy spending time outdoors, winding my way down the many hiking and biking paths throughout The Valley of the Sun. Favorite color: Turquoise. Favorite word: It's a toss up between "windowsill" and "snack." Favorite quote: "Don't use a five-dollar word when a fifty-cent word will do."
